Pre-conception Consultation:
Are you considering pregnancy? Are you interested in preparing your body and mind for optimal health and wellness throughout the perinatal journey? Each session (1.5-2 hours) is individually tailored to a family’s needs with a focus centering on nutrition, movement, stress reduction, and partnership building.
Pre-conception consultation includes:
- An initial phone meeting to discuss goals, timelines, challenges, and needs.
- An in person meeting to review recommendations and build a plan for success.
- A final phone meeting to check in, make adjustments, and celebrate strong work!
Investment: $495
Hybrid Care and Support for Hospital Birth
- Email, text, and phone support from the time of hire through early postpartum. Address questions, concerns, pregnancy discomforts, communication, and more from the Midwifery perspective. Receive recommendations and solutions based on Midwifery expertise and tradition.
- Comprehensive prenatal visits following a regular obstetric visit schedule in conjunction with your hospital based OB/GYN or Midwife prenatal visits. Keep your regular prenatal appointments with your hospital based care provider, and supplement them with prenatal meetings based on in-home Midwifery care. One hour meetings once a month in your home up to 28 weeks gestation, then one hour meetings every two weeks up to 40 weeks gestation, then visits every 3-5 days as needed until labor commences.
- Communication and support via phone/text from labor onset until the client requests in person support in home or at hospital. In person support from time of request through the transition to the hospital and until 1-2 hours after baby arrives.
- In-labor evaluations and recommendations based on Midwifery skills and knowledge to support each family’s confident decision making.
- Up to four one hour comprehensive postpartum visits in home to evaluate and support the postpartum person and baby, and make recommendations based on Midwifery care.
- The support of a trained and experienced back up doula for labor if needed (in case of unavailability due to illness, a family emergency, a client already in labor, etc.).
Investment: $3500
Placenta Remedies
- Fruit Smoothie, Placenta Salve, Placenta Capsules
Investment: $275 as a stand alone service, $250 as an add on service for clients with other ILM Birth contracts
+ $25 to add Blood or Color Prints
$100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of agreement signing, remaining fee due by 38 weeks gestation
